We expect senior engineers to actively use AI tools — Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalents — throughout the full development lifecycle: architecture planning, code generation, review, debugging, and documentation. What you will do

• Architect and ship scalable production systems across the company compliance and API platform

• Build full-stack features: React/Next.js frontends through Python/Node.js backends and cloud
  infrastructure

• Design and maintain APIs, data pipelines, webhook systems, and automation tooling

• Use AI coding tools actively and fluently throughout your daily workflow

• Own work end-to-end from architecture through deployment with minimal oversight

• Review code and uphold engineering standards across the team

• Debug complex issues across distributed, multi-state compliance workflows

• Document systems, architecture decisions, and implementation details clearly

• Collaborate with Head of Engineering, product, and operations to ship reliably

What you bring

• 6+ years professional software development experience with multiple production systems shipped

• Strong full-stack experience: modern frontend frameworks and backend API/service development

• Active, demonstrated use of AI coding tools(Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.) in a professional context

• Experience designing system architecture and scalable cloud applications

• Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure — cloud deployments, CI/CD, Docker

• Ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar technologies and codebases without heavy ramp time

• Self-directed — comfortable owning complex technical work independently

• Experience in remote or distributed engineering teams

• Strong communication with both technical peers and non-technical business stakeholders
