We are looking for a talented Python/Django Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality web applications. You will play a key role in building scalable backend services, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend endpoints and web architecture using Python and Django.
• Work alongside a high-powered data infrastructure (Big Data, Spark, Kafka), ensuring the web application layer interacts correctly with data streams.
• Collaborate with the existing team to separate the application logic: specific products may remain in Elixir while new development shifts to Django

Requirements:

• Tech Stack: Strong Python and Django framework knowledge.
• Role Focus: Web-based development (handling API endpoints), not data science or data engineering.
• Database: PostgreSQL (mentioned as the database to "think of for now").
• Context: Needs to interface with a high-data environment but the primary job is building the web application backend to replace/augment the existing Elixir system.
• Architecture: Understanding of endpoints and API structures is essential.
